What this publication is for

Practical reading and useful starting points for people doing support work. Our guides are general information. They do not replace professional advice, an organisation's procedures, or the requirements that apply to a particular service.

Ownership and independence

Our own products are identified wherever we feature them. We do not present this site as an independent review of those products. Links to other businesses and government resources do not imply an endorsement, partnership or accreditation.

Listings and paid placements

Businesses can enquire about a listing by email. We consider relevance to readers, a working website and clear information about the service. We agree the details before publishing. Any paid placement will be labelled as sponsored or paid. Paying for a placement will not turn it into an independent recommendation.

Accuracy and corrections

We use product information and original sources to check factual claims. Software, prices and requirements can change, so check the supplier or official source before making a decision. We do not claim a product is suitable for every organisation.
